Dr. Giancarlo Rizzoli appointed new CEO of 4D Lifetec
10.01.2023 Since January 1st, Dr. Giancarlo Rizzoli has taken over the position as CEO at 4D Lifetec from Dr. Arne Faisst. Giancarlo Rizzoli has been with 4D Lifetec as a shareholder and business development manager from the very beginning. He has proven experience in the diagnostic market and in international sales management and thus brings with him all the prerequisites to introduce the company’s products to the markets and to build up and anchor the company 4D Lifetec in the US.
Since its foundation in 2014, Arne Faisst has built up and led 4D Lifetec as co-founder, major shareholder, CEO and chairman of the board. In the meantime, the company’s product portfolio 4D Lifetest™ is clinically documented, widely published, patented and CE-IVD certified for lung, breast, colorectal and prostate cancer and ready for the commercial launch.
As the company and the networks grow, sales, reporting, but also structures and stability become more important. In addition to building up the team, the new demands also require an expansion of the management team. That's why Arne Faisst and the Board of Directors have unanimously decided that now is the right time to effectively strengthen the management team and look for a new CEO. The Board is happy to appoint Dr. Giancarlo Rizzoli for the position. Arne Faisst will now concentrate fully on his role as Chairman.
This change will not result in any modification of the existing shareholder structure.
